Welcome! My name is Jeff Werner, and I am an assistant professor of environmental chemistry at Castleton State College in Vermont. In this blog I want to report on my experiences as a new chemistry professor. I try to foster an inquiry-based learning environment. I’m also interested in incorporating my research questions in the classroom, both to help engage students and also (selfishly) to get more students doing research. These are some of the things I will probably write about.
